Larry Hartell

LLarry Don Hartell, 77, of St. Jospeh, MO passed away July 26, 2024.

He was born September 25, 1946, to Ronald and Maude Rice (Dale) Hartell in St. Jospeh, MO. Larry grew up in Plattsburg, MO and in 1964, he graduated from Plattsburg High School. Larry later received his Pharmacology Degree from UMKC (1969), his Master of Divinity from the school of Theology in Cleveland, TN (1981) and a Master of Divinity and a Doctor of Divinity from Central Baptist Seminary in Kansas City, MO (1986).

Larry was a pharmacist for over 50 years and retired from Rogers Pharmacy in St. Jospeh, MO. He also served as a minister, serving several congregations in the area.

He was preceded in death by his wife Nancy Hartell; his parents Ronald and Maude Hartell; his sister Marylyn Dean and his brother Ronald D. Hartell.

Larry is survived by daughter Lisa Hartell Holden; son Brian Hartell; grandchildren Steven Holden, Rachel Bodnar, and Eli Hartell; sister Dorothy Silvius; brother Lowell Hartell; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Visitation: 3:00-6:00 p.m. Thursday, August 1st at Grace Calvary Chapel, St. Joseph, MO.
Private Family Graveside service will be held later.
