Larry Dwight Wade
Larry Dwight Wade, 53, of Smithville, Mo., passed away, Saturday, July 12, 2008.
He was born on August 17, 1954 to Vernon Dwight Wade and Betty Jean (Wuttke) Wade in Excelsior Springs, Mo. He grew up in Smithville and in 1973 graduated from Smithville High School where he was an All-Star football player.
Larry worked at Hallmark, Trailmobile and later was a painting contractor and a fence builder all over the county until his health declined.
Larry enjoyed hunting, fishing and mushroom hunting.
Larry was preceded in death by his younger brother, John Arthur Wade and his father, Vernon D. Wade.
He is survived by his two children, Amy Hamer and Kaleb Wade. Four grandchildren, Madison, Jacob, Trinity and Tylor. His mother, Betty McLaughlin Wade, Smithville, Mo. He is also survived by his older brother and sister-in-law, Steve and Lisa Wade, Kansas City, Mo. Uncles and Aunts, Arthur & Kay Wuttke, Gladstone, Mo., Bill & Deanna Wuttke, Blue Springs, Mo., several nieces and nephews other relatives and many friends.
Services for Larry will be held at 7:00 P.M., Monday, July 14th, at the Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Smithville, MO.
Inurnment at a later date at I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Smithville.
