Larry Dale Green
Larry Dale Green, 67, of Platte City, MO, passed away Wednesday, January 18, 2012.
He was born on May 18, 1944 to Rev. William Dewitt and Laura Irene (Hubner) Green in Assumption, IL. Larry grew up in Osborn, MO and 1961 graduated from Osborn High School.
Larry worked as a meat cutter for over 30 years for local stores. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and most of all he loved being with his granddaughter, Rylee.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Larry is survived by his wife, Cindy; daughter, Alison Carr; granddaughter, Rylee Carr all of the home; two sons, Jeffrey Green and wife Jennifer and children, and Michael Green and wife Kim, all of Overland Park, KS; brothers and sisters, Charles and Marinelle Green, Grand Junction, CO; John and Frances Green, Kidder, MO, Floyd and Dee Green, Altamont, MO, Eilene Vaught, Apple Valley, CA and Donnie Green, Cameron, MO; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 21st at Hoover Christian Church with visitation one hour prior to the service.
Graveside Service: 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Osborn Evergreen Cemetery, Osborn, MO
