L.D. “Jack” Tucker
L.D. ?Jack? Tucker, 85, of Parkville, MO passed away, Monday, January 26, 2015 at his home.
He was born on July 24, 1929 to David Richard and Maudie Ethel (Carbough) Tucker in Cross Timbers, MO where he grew up and attended school in Hickory Grove, MO.
On February 25, 1950 he was united in marriage to Dorothy Mae Bryant. After their marriage, they lived rural Platte County where they made their home. His wife, Dorothy, passed away March 13, 2010.
Jack attended Hillsboro Christian Church in Platte City, MO. He was a member of the KCTA and the MTA. He enjoyed trap shooting, hunting, fishing and horses.
He was also preceded in death by his parents and sister, Juanita Owsley-Wright.
Jack is survived by his children, Judy Maiseroulle, Lloyd Tucker and wife Judy and Charley Tucker and wife Christie; grandchildren, Jacquie, Bob, Charley ?Boomer?, Michael and Matthew; great-grandchildren, Christian, McKenzie, Kayden, Kenzie, Jake, Linley, Keegan, Connor and Corbin; sister Gertie Owsley-Meyer; special friend Mary; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 30th at the Hillsboro Christian Church, rural Platte City, MO.
Burial: Hampton Cemetery, Kansas City, MO
Visitation: 5:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday at the church.
In lieu of flowers donations to the Hillsboro Christian Church or Crossroads Hospice.
