Kenneth Wayne Anderson
Kenneth Wayne Anderson, 72, of Platte City, MO passed away July 10, 2016.
He was born on July 1, 1944 to James Howard and Virginia Lee (McClanahan) Anderson in rural Gower, MO. In 1962 Kenny graduated from North Platte High School in Dearborn, MO. He served his country in the US Army National Guard for 6 years. After his honorable discharged he returned to Smithville, MO and later moved to Platte City.
Kenny worked for Corn Products in North Kansas City, MO for over 20 years. After his retirement he managed apartments north of the river. He enjoyed fishing and being outdoors.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Stanley Anderson; a niece; a nephew; uncles C.P. Anderson, Raymond Anderson, Jewell Anderson, Jim McClanahan, Bill McClanahan, Herman McClanahan and Ray McClanahan; and aunts Gerogie Harris, and Leona Kennedy
Kenny is survived by his aunt Wardie Hines; niece Christie Revis; numerous cousins and many friends.
Graveside Service: 1:00 p.m. Friday, July 15th at Allen Cemetery, Gower
