Kelly (Anderson) Gebhardt

Kelly (Anderson) Gebhardt, 55, of St. Paul, NE, formerly of Kansas City, MO passed away, May 4, 2022.

She was born on May 13, 1966 in St. Joseph, MO. Kelly grew up in Cameron and graduated from Cameron High School in 1984.

In 1987 she was united in marriage to Todd Poretta. After their marriage they lived in the Kansas City area where they raised their two children. On December 26, 2013 she was united in marriage to John Gebhardt. After their marriage they lived in St. Paul, NE where they made their home.

She experienced many health problems throughout her life and was a positive influence on her friends and family. When her health didn’t allow her to work, she turned her life to gardening, farming and her home life. Most of all she loved her family and friends.

Kelly is survived by her husband, John, of the home; children, Travis Poretta and Taylor (Kevin) Chadwick; grandchildren, Nicholas, Henry, and Remington; step-children, Anna, Cole, Caleb, Lauren Gebhardt; parents, Don E. Anderson and Mary (Jerry) Cotter Sprong; brothers, Kevin (Chris) Anderson and Kent (Lorenna) Anderson; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Celebration of Life: 6:30 p.m. Monday May 9th at Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Gower with visitation from 4:00-6:00 p.m. prior to the service.

Donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.

I will forever remember her beautiful smile, her unfailing positive attitude, and the countless good times we had together. She will truly be missed by many.
