Kelli Knighton

Kelli Colleen Knighton, 38, of Parkville, MO passed away June 8, 2023.

She was born on January 5, 1985, in Kansas City, MO. Kelli grew up in Platte County and graduated from West Platte High School in 2003. She was active in softball and basketball.

Kelli received her Medical Assistant and worked for Hillview Nursing Home and did in home health care.  She loved music and attending concerts and enjoyed running and fitness. Most of all, she loved being involved in her sons’ sporting activities. 

She was an active member of the Rock of KC where she was baptized on Easter of 2022. 

Kelli was preceded in death by her grandparents Charles and Mildred Knighton and her step-father Jon Hines. 

She is survived by her son Gregory Keenan, Jr.; her mother Julie Hines; her father Steven (Dana) Knighton; siblings Kyle Knighton, Kole Knighton, Jacklyn Knighton and Kalvin Knighton; niece Shania; nephew Brooks; grandparents George and Phyllis Jamison; her boyfriend Jason Keck; several aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and many friends. 

 Visitation 10:00-11:00 a.m. with Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 17th at the Rock 12750 N Winan Ave Kansas City, MO 64163

A Celebration of Life Lunch Reception will be held following the service at the Platte County Fair Grounds – Platte Purchase Building. 

 Donations may be made in her memory for Gregory in-care of Julie Hines.
