Keith Webb

Keith Dean Webb, 60, of Smithville, MO passed away, December 22, 2024.

Keith Dean Webb and his twin siter Kimberly were born to Miss Shirley L. Ellington on September 7th, 1964, in Smithville, MO. Keith spent his childhood in Smithville and was a graduate of Smithville High School.

After high school Keith relocated to California in Mi -Wuk Village and pursued a career as a wildland firefighter. As a wildland firefighter Keith played an important role in several search and rescue operations. Keith was also a K9 handler and was assisted in his search and rescue operations by his longtime companion, a pit bull named Leeroy. Keith also found work in government contacting as a heavy machine operator, which gave him the opportunity to travel all the United States. Keith then settled in Chillicothe, MO. and finished his professional years working for his best friend Doug Lowe. Keith always said that the friends he made while working with Doug were his second family.

In Keith’s younger years he was a member of several motorcycle clubs. Later in life Keith was an avid race car fan, a Master Chainsaw Carver, and loved tinkering in his garage.
Keith was proceeded in death by his mother Shirley and his “Pops” Ralph Webb, his brother Sgt. Wayne “Switch” Webb, his nephew Jeffrey Jennings and his K9 companion Leeroy.

Keith is survived by his aunt Carolyn Webb, which was pivotal in his formative years, his twin sister Kimberly Eshnaur; brother Rick (Sarah) Webb, sisters Becky Webb and Tammy (Jeff) Jennings. Keith also left numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives and many close friends.

Funeral Service: 11:30 a.m. Thursday, December 26th at Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Smithville, MO.
Burial: Community of Smithville Memorial Cemetery, Smithville, MO.

    keith was a great guy got to him quite well thru working with him on numerous jobs he will be gladly missed fly hi brother till we meet again
