Keith Fry Rice

Keith Fry Rice, 96, of Trimble, MO
passed away October 8, 2015.

 

He was born on October 11, 1918 to
Adrian N. and Ruth Jane (Fry) Rice in Trimble, MO where he grew up and graduated
from Plattsburg High School in 1937.
  He
served his country in the U.S. Army Air Force during WWII.

 

On September 3, 1938 he was united
in marriage to Mary Elizabeth Short.
 
After their marriage they lived in rural Trimble where they farmed and
made their home.
  Mary passed away on
October 15, 1978.
 

 

Keith retired from TWA in
1981.
  He was a gifted carpenter, enjoyed
raising Angus Cattle and loved coon hunting and his coon hounds.

 

He was a member of the Baptist
Faith.
  Keith was also a member of the
Plattsburg Saddle Club.

 

Keith was also preceded in death by
his parents and one brother Carol Rice.

 

He is survived by his daughter
Madeline Adam and husband Andy; granddaughters Margaret Martin-McLain and
husband Joe and Mary Ann Evans and husband Scott; great-grandchildren Erin and
Grant Martin and Drew and Leslie Evans; sister-in-law Sarah Nealson; other
relatives and many friends.

 

Funeral Service:  11:00 a.m. Monday, October 12th with
visitation from 10:00-11:00 a.m. prior to the services all at the Hixson-Klein
Funeral Home, Gower

Burial: Pleasant Hill Cemetery,
Trimble, MO
