Kay Berner

Kay Berner, 67, of Trimble, MO formerly of Paradise, MO, North Kansas City, MO, Smithville, MO and Edgerton, MO passed away Tuesday, October 18, 2011.

She was born on June 17, 1944 to William Lewis and Viola Faye (Ellington) Berner in Smithville, MO. Kay grew up in the Paradise, MO area and later graduated from North Kansas City High School. Kay lived in North Kansas City and later returned to Paradise, MO. In 1990, she moved to Trimble, MO and later lived in Edgerton, MO.

Kay worked as a house keeper in the Trimble and Smithville areas, spending many years with the Mick Family.

She was baptized at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Edgerton, MO was a member of the Paradise Baptist Church.

Kay was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Judy Ann Berner, and special friend and companion, Loyd D. “Jack” Mick.

She is survived by many cousins and friends.
