Judy Holder

Judith Kay Holder, 78, of Gower, MO passed away October 28, 2021.

She was born on December 27, 1942 to Albert Donald and Virginia Ruth (Russell) Cone in St. Joseph, MO. Judy grew up in rural Gower, MO and in 1961 she graduated from Gower High School. She attended Missouri Western State College. 

After high school, Judy was united in marriage to her high school sweetheart John Thomas Holder. After their marriage they lived in Plattsburg and later moved to Gower where they made their home.

She worked as a real-estate agent in Buchanan and Clinton County for many years. Judy loved to cook and most of all, she loved spending time with her family.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents Don and Virginia Cone; her son Jimmie Don Holder; her grandson Teryl Holder; her aunt and uncle who raised her Marvin and Mildred Cone; and her father and mother in law Spec and Alma Holder. 

She is survived by her husband John Holder; son Jeff Holder, Sr.; grandson Jeff Holder, Jr. and Jake Holder; great-grandsons Aiden and Avery; sister Deborah Hoover and husband Lyle; brother Jim Cone; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends. 

Private family services will be held.

Donations may be made to Keller Cemetery where her ashes will be along with her family.
