Judith Ann (Auxier) Mullins

Judith Ann “Judy” Mullins, 67, of Smithville, MO., passed away, Saturday, September 13, 2008 at the Gower Convalescent Center.

She was born on April 4, 1941 to John Nathaniel and Theresa Fern (Tangney) Auxier in Sabetha, Kansas. Judy graduated from Salem, Nebraska High School and later attended Nebraska Wesleyan College in Lincoln, Nebraska and Maple Woods College in Kansas City, MO.

Judy moved to Smithville in 1963 and worked for the former Spelman Memorial Hospital and later St. Luke’s Northland Hospital in Smithville and Kansas City.

Judy was a member of the Smithville United Methodist Church where she was active in the education and music programs.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Judy is survived by her children, David Mullins and wife, Denise, Lebanon, IN, James Mullins and wife, Kathi, Thornton, CO, Catherine Clark and husband, Floyd, Gower, MO, Jason Mullins and wife, Gretchen, Howell, MI; seven grandchildren, Justin Mullins, Krista Chesney, Ryan Mullins, Lucas, Ben, and Caitlynn Clark, and Daniel Mullins; four great-grandchildren; Jazmin, Alyssa, and Dominic Chesney and Elisabeth Mullins; her mother, Theresa Auxier, Lincoln, NE; and four brothers, John D. Auxier, Parkville, MO, Robert E. Auxier, Waverly, NE, and twin brothers, Tom Auxier and Ted Auxier, both of Falls City, NE; other relatives and many friends.

Memorial Service: 6:30 P.M., Tuesday, Sept. 16^th, at the Smithville United Methodist Church.
