Juanita Joyce Davidson
Juanita Joyce Davidson, 64, of Dearborn, MO, passed away Thursday, June 28, 2007 at North Kansas City Hospital.
She was born on April 16, 1943 to Clifford Harmen and Norma Nadine (Dovel) Williams in Leavenworth, KS. Juanita grew up in Dearborn. She graduated from 8th grade in Edgerton, MO and in 1961, Juanita graduated from North Platte High School.
On December 22, 1962 she was united in marriage to William “Billy” Clay Davidson. After their marriage they lived in Dearborn where they made their home. Her husband, Billy passed away on May 30, 2006.
Juanita was head librarian for Mid-Continent Library in Dearborn where she retired in 2003.
She was awarded Woman Of The Year in May 1997 by the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. Juanita enjoyed traveling and loved to spend time with her family most of all with Kolby and Hailey.
Juanita was also preceded in death by her father and two brothers, Charles Clifford “C.C.“ Williams and Ronnie “Mule” Williams.
She is survived by one son, K.C. Davidson and wife, Jenny; daughter, Missy Stephenson and husband, Bob; two grandchildren, Kolby and Hailey Renae Davidson; mother, Norma Williams; three brothers, Jack, Danny and Donnie Williams all of Dearborn, numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral Service: 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 2nd at the Dearborn Baptist Church.
Burial: Williams Cemetery, Dearborn, MO
Visitation: 1:00-2:00 p.m. prior to the service on Monday at the church
Arrangements: Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Gower.
