Joyce Elaine (Anderson) Heath

Joyce Elaine Heath, 74 of Edgerton, MO passed away Saturday, February 14, 2015.

 

She was born on December 18, 1940 to C.P. and Virginia (Morris) Anderson near Faucett, MO.  Joyce grew up in rural Gower and graduated from Gower High School.

 

On April 18, 1958 she was united in marriage to Clarence Leonard Heath. After their marriage they lived in Frazier and in 1972 moved south of Edgerton, MO where they made their home.

 

She was a member of the Ridgely Christian Church for many years.  She enjoyed spending time with her family, weekend gatherings, fish fries and garage sales.

 

Joyce was a cook for the North Platte School District.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents and son Byron Lynn Heath.

 

Joyce is survived by her husband Leonard Heath; children Doug Heath and wife Melanie, Rhonda Davis and Renee Powers and husband Mark; grandchildren Joe Davis, Luke Davis, Brandon Heath, Bobbi Yarc, Jamie Summers, Chris Heath, Zach Heath, Ashlyn Powers, Emily Powers, Madison Powers, and Jesse Heath; thirteen great-grandchildren; brothers, Charles L. ?Chuck? Anderson and wife Betty and Don E. Anderson and wife Michele; brother-in-law Cecil Heath and wife Wilma; sister-in-law Joan Harlan and husband Steve; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

 

Funeral Service: 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 18^th at Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Edgerton

Burial: Ridgely Cemetery

Visitation: 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 17^th at the funeral home.
