Johnny Banks “J.B.” Blair

Johnny Banks “J.B.” Blair, 75, of Edgerton, MO, passed away, Thursday, January 19, 2012.

He was born on June 24, 1936 to Marshall John and Nannie Francis (McCarty) Blair in Kansas City, MO. J.B. graduated from North Kansas City High School and attended the University of Missouri for three years. He then served his country in the U.S. Air Force. While serving in England he met Rachel Moira Glenholmes. On October 20, 1961 they were united in marriage. After their marriage they returned to Leavenworth and in 1965 moved to Edgerton where they made their home. His wife, Rachel, preceded him in death on June 18, 200

J.B. was an Airline Mechanic for TWA for over 40 years.

He was also preceded in death by his parents.

J.B. is survived by his children, Sean Blair, Edgerton, MO, Celeste Rodriguez and husband Dave, Parkville, MO, and Christopher Blair, Platte City, MO; two grandchildren, Alex and A.J. Rodriguez; sister, Geneva Ann Blair, Parkville, MO; brother-in-law, Eric Glenholmes and wife Iris, Toronto, Canada; other relatives and many friends.

Memorial Service: 3:00 p.m. Sunday, January 22^nd at Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Edgerton, 303 Hwy Z.
