John Si Breckenridge, II was Born December 31st, 1984 to John and Denise Breckenridge. He as welcomed into this world by his sister, Shannon and a large extended family.
John Si loved music, loved to travel, and loved spending time with friends and family. He loved his family and loved people. He simply loved life.
In his short time on Earth, he faced tragedy and challenge many can't comprehend, yet he persevered, with a positive outlook, determined attitude, and a heart filled with hope.
John did not see race, history, or social or economic status when looking at others. To him, everyone was equal. To him, all people had goodness within them.
He was generous-Not just to family and friends, but to complete strangers as well. He frequently took food to homeless people and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone less fortunate than him.
The light that radiated from within him touched so many and his passing left a huge empty spot in the lives of those who loved him. We not only lost an amazing son and brother, but the world lost a genuinely good human being with a heart of gold.
"Amongst the silence I can hear your laughter, and when I close my eyes I can see your smile….Rest in peace John Si, it's never a good-bye; it's see ya later."
