John E. Guyer
John Eldon Guyer, 86, of Edgerton, Mo., passed away Friday November 3, 2017.
He was born on June 1, 1931 to John Marion and Ruth Evelyn (Fouts) Guyer near Edgerton, MO. John grew up near Edgerton and graduated from Edgerton High School. He then served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War.
On November 1, 1952 he was united in marriage to Barbara Jean Blankenship. After their marriage they lived in Edgerton where they made their home. His wife, Barbara, passed away, March 23, 2006.
John was preceded in death by his parents, son William David Guyer; and brothers, Louis D. Guyer and George Guyer.
He is survived by his son, Charles Guyer and wife Pam, and daughter Cindy Romey and husband Jay; daughter-in-law, Goldie Guyer; six grandchildren; Bill (Melissa), Barbara (Tony), Melissa (Chris), Jeremy (Candy),
Rachel (Jeramie) and Nathaniel (Katie), twelve great-grandchildren; Corbin, Abby, Trevor, Jordan, Vinnie, Lizzie, Lucas, Grace, Charlie, Samantha, Clarissa, Jordan, and Devin; brother-in-law, Bob Mesa; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Rachel (Jeramie) and Nathaniel (Katie), twelve great-grandchildren; Corbin, Abby, Trevor, Jordan, Vinnie, Lizzie, Lucas, Grace, Charlie, Samantha, Clarissa, Jordan, and Devin; brother-in-law, Bob Mesa; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Memorial Service: 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 11th at Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Edgerton, with visitation one hour prior to the service.
Inurnment at Ridgely Cemetery.
