John Allen Krems
John Allen Krems, 64, of Edgerton, MO passed away Saturday, May 23, 2015.
He was born on March 5, 1951 to Erwin J. and Jacqueline Louise (Bartley) Krems in Julesburg, Colorado. He grew up in Big Springs, NE, Red Oak, IA and he graduated from North Kansas City High School, North Kansas City, MO. John served his country in the Army National Guard.
On June 9, 1972 he was united in marriage to Sheila Louise Oâ??Neal. After their marriage they lived in rural Platte County where they made their home.
John was a member of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon and was active in Masterâ??s Builders. He was a truck driver for Blue Bunny and AWG and most recently worked for Gipson Ricketts before his retirement. John coached girls softball for many years. He enjoyed gardening, camping and most of all spending time with his friends, family and grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father Erwin Krems, his mother Jacqueline Butler, his step-father Don M. Butler and an infant brother.
John is survived by his wife Sheila Krems; children Kameo Patch and husband Kyle, Kody Krems and wife Marissa; grandchildren Kyra, Kruise, Andrea, and Kamryn; his twin sister Joni Teegarden and husband Gary; sisters Brenda Weinmeister and husband Steve and Pennie Stouwie and husband Nathan; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral Service: 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 27th at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Edgerton
Burial: Ridgely Cemetery
Visitation: 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 26th at the church.
Donations may be made to St. Judeâ??s Childrenâ??s Research Hospital.
Arrangements: Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Edgerton.
