Joe Sloan
Joe Sloan, 49, of Gower, MO, passed away, Sunday, August 5, 2007.
He was born on March 5, 1958 to Ernest Elwood and Eva Faye (Cudworth) Sloan. He grew up in Gower and graduated from East Buchanan High School. Joe lived in Gower, Grayson, and Plattsburg.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Raymond and Paul Sloan, sister-in-law, Judy Sloan, four nephews, Jeff, Tim, Jason, Wayne, and one niece, Ashley.
Joe is survived by three sisters, Clara Wickstrom, Hardin, MO, Liz Streeter, Plattsburg, and Mary Haddock, Gower; three brothers, Glenn Sloan, Polo, Jimmie Sloan and Donnie Sloan, both of Plattsburg; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Memorial Service: 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, August 8th at the Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Gower, with visitation following until 8:00 p.m.
Inurnment at a later date.
Donations may be made in Joe’s memory in care of funeral home.
