Joan Charlene Fleck

Joan C. Fleck, 66, of St. Joseph, MO, passed away, Friday, February 7, 2014.

She was born on Dec. 1, 1947 to John Edwin and Dixie Lee (Kirk) Keck in Grass Valley, Calif. The family later moved to St. Joseph where she attended Central High School and later attended Hillyards.  Joan lived most of her life in St. Joseph and worked as a lab tech at Methodist Medical Center, the Plasma Center and later  the Med Clinic in Savannah.

Joan was a loving mother and grandmother and enjoyed spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Michael Fleck, three grandchildren, Shaytan Brian Fleck, Syeliss Jonathan Pansza, Aubree LeeAnn Fleck, sister; Carol Leone Keck and  brother Jerry Clay Thomas.

She is survived by Ralph Fleck  and their children; Brian Fleck, Shelly Fleck, Cara George, and Jonathan Fleck;  four grandchildren; Garrett, Ethan, Izeek and Delainee and one sister; Lee Smith all of St. Joseph, other relatives and many friends.

Memorial Service: 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2014 at Hixson-Klein Funeral Home Gower, MO  with visitation following until 7:30 p.m.
