Jim Stover

James Henry Lane Stover III, 80 of Trimble, MO passed away December 30, 2020 at his home. 

He was born on May 19, 1940 to James Henry Lane II and Myrtle A. (Warden) Stover in Bensenville, IL. Jim graduated from High School. He served his country in the U.S. Army as a Spec 4 during the Vietnam War. After his honorable discharge he lived in Wooddale, IL.

On October 28, 1989 he was united in marriage to Grace Michelle Jones. After their marriage they lived in Trimble where they made their home.

Jim was an over the road truck driver, long-time member of the Teamsters Union, and retired from Graham Trucking.

He was a member of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Jim loved to tinker with cars and things around the house. He loved spending time with his family and friends.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents James and Myrtle Stover; grandson Jimmy Stover; brothers Harry Stover, Dick Stover and Luke Stover and sisters Vivian, Charlotte, Beulah, and Margie.

He is survived by his wife Grace Stover; sons Jimmy (Tracy) Stover and Dion Stover; sisters Colleen Zethmayr and Beverly (George) Giese; sister-in-law Bonnie Stover; other relatives and many friends.

Funeral Services with Military Honors: 1:00 p.m. Sunday, January 3rd with Visitation following until 3:00 p.m. at Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Edgerton
