Jim Curl

James Albert Curl, 74, of St. Joseph, MO formerly of Plattsburg, MO passed away July 19, 2018.

He was born on April 6, 1944 to Kenneth Albert and Betty Fay (Morse) Curl in Plattsburg where he grew up and in 1962 graduated from Plattsburg High School. 

 Jim farmed in the Plattsburg area and was an avid sports fan. He spent his life coaching his boys and was their biggest fan. 

 He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Jerry Curl.

Jim is survived by his sons Jason Curl and wife Tina, Jered Curl and Erica , Justin Curl and wife Kitson; grandchildren Tylynn (Mark) Solmon, Elijah Curl, Ryan Curl, Wyatt Curl, Ian Acosta and Avery Acosta; great-grand children Cortlynn, Arizona and Ace Solmon; sister Jane Norris and husband Eldon; other relatives and many friends.

Memorial Service: 7:00 p.m. Thursday, July 26th with visitation from 6:00-7:00 p.m. prior to the service at Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Gower

Inurnment will be held at Lathrop Cemetery
