Jim Creal
James Floyd Creal, 94, of Edgerton, MO passed away, November 20, 2023.
He was born on June 13, 1929 to Lewis Floyd and Marie (Horn) Creal in St. Joseph, MO. He grew up in Edgerton, MO and Wichita, KS and graduated from high school in Wichita, KS. He then served his country in the U.S. Navy. After his honorable discharge in 1950 he first settled in Bakersfield, CA, and later in Visalia, CA. While living in California he first worked for Carnation Dairy. He then became a manager for an office that rented/sold equipment mostly used for farming and irrigation. He later owned and electrical alarm business and did most the electricians work there as well. Jim returned to Missouri in the late 1970’s where he owned and operated his own electrical business.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters.
He is survived by his daughter, Lynn (Greg) Stevenson; grandchildren, Peter (Rebecca) Stevenson and Sarah (Josh) Woodworth; great-grandchildren, Rita Woodworth, Robert Woodworth, Wesley Stevenson, and Andrew Stevenson; sister, Margaret.
Visitation: 1:00-2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 26th Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Edgerton, MO.
Graveside Service with Military Honors: 10:00 a.m. Monday, November 27th at Leavenworth National Cemetery, Leavenworth, KS.
