Jim Burk
James Allen “Jim” Burk, a family man, a farmer and a retired insurance branch manager, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, November 20, 2021.
Jim was born on December 14, 1934, to Walter and Mabel Burk. Jim married Treva Brown of Lohrville, Iowa in June of 1957. They had been married for 62 years. He received his B.S. from NWMSU in 1961 and began a career in insurance.
Jim was a friend to everyone, and his influence will remain forever in the lives of all who knew him. Jim farmed a cow/calf operation for over 30 years and enjoyed giving of his time and resources to help people. His priorities included spending time with family, helping others, working on the farm, and working on cars and machinery.
His life will forever be cherished in the lives of his family and friends!

I just want Jim’s family to know how he made us laugh every time he called or came in our office with those “muddy boots”!!! He truly was a man of faith and helped many. May he rest in peace and the memories ease your pain.
