Obviously knew Jessie a long time, but later in life I saw her a lot at our bank. I ALWYS tried to go to her spot, as she was such fun lady, and we always had a few things to talk about. What an inspiration and an example to others, that just can’t seem to find a way to work or whatever. She was a great lady.

Jessie was a one of a kind! She could do anything she set her mind to. She was a wonderful mentor to me in my high school years. Taught me perseverance and to stay positive when the going gets hard. The best part of her was her laugh and her quick humor. What a wonderful person. Thinking of all the family. Best, Laura Justus Irvin

Jill has been my friend since long ago at Southwestern Bell. In all these years she spoke of her mother and amazed me with all the thing her mother was doing! I was especially in awe at the number of years that your mother worked in the system for so many years. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your children and the rest of your family !

I will miss her a lot, but just think she’s up there with Debbie Shipley, jumping around planting her plants. Love you all.
