Jessie K. (Whitmore) Freeman

Jessie K. Freeman, 101 of Trimble, MO passed away, Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at the Gower Convalescent Center.

 

She was born on March 24, 1912 to Alonzo A. and Kezia (Barton) Whitmore in Trimble, MO.

 

Jessie attended school and grew up in the Trimble area and graduated from Plattsburg High School.

 

She was united in marriage to Edd Freeman.  They lived many happy years in North Kansas City.  Her husband, Edd, passed away in 1984, and Jessie returned to Trimble.

 

She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Alice and Frances, and her brother Oakley.

 

Jessie is survived by her step-daughter, Norma Ashby, Lee’s Summit, MO; step-granddaughter, Carol Ashby; two step great-granddaughters; and two step great-great-granddaughters.

 

Graveside Services will be held a later date.
