Jerry Lee Hyatt
Jerry Lee Hyatt, 57, of Belton, Mo., formerly of Kansas City and Cameron, passed away, Saturday, April 7, 2007 .
He was born on June 23, 1949 to Roy Nelson Hyatt, Jr. and Wilma Jean (Hartman) Hyatt in Holt, Mo. He grew up near Cameron and in 1968 he graduated from Cameron High School. Jerry then served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. After his honorable discharge he was united in marriage to Marie Green. After their marriage they lived in Kansas City.
Jerry was a firefighter for the Kansas City Fire Department for over 18 years.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Kelly Hyatt Chandler and his mother, Wilma Hyatt.
He is survived by his father; Roy Hyatt, of Claycomo, Mo., brothers; Steve Hyatt, of Belton, Mo., Ronald Hyatt, of Claycomo, Mo., and John Hyatt, of Avondale, Mo., Marie Green, Warsaw, Mo., step-children; Harry Hutchison, John Hutchison and Julie Robinson, 5 grandchildren, five step-grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.
FUNERAL SERVICE: 1:00 P.M., Wednesday, April 11th at the Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Gower, Mo.
VISITATION: One hour prior to the service.
INURNMENT: Mt. Zion Cemetery, Gower, Mo.,
