Jerry Lee Crockett

Jerry L. Crockett, 66, of Plattsburg, MO passed away, Friday, March 15, 2013 at his home.

He was born on August 21, 1946 to Charles Thomas and Francis Lucille (Stuart) Crockett in St. Joseph, MO.  He attended West Platte High School in Weston.  After graduation in 1965, Jerry worked for Nashua Trailer Company and farmed.  He was baptized as a Christian on March 27, 1966.

In 1966 he married Connie Cunningham, to them a daughter Tracy LeAnn Crockett was born.  Jerry married Faye Sloan in 1968.  They had two sons, Jamey Eugene Crockett and Jason Lee Crockett.  On November 6, 2010 he was united in marriage to Deborah S. (Calvert) Wade Payne.  Jerry and Debbie made their home in Plattsburg. 

Jerry began working for TWA/American Airlines in 1966 in Ramp Services and retired as a Licensed Mechanic in 2008.   He received many awards for outstanding service.  Jerry traveled to many places for the airline repairing planes.  He loved spending time with his children, watching his grandsons play football, and his new family.  Jerry enjoyed horses, woodworking and traveling.  He was a member of the Gower Masonic Lodge #397.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Debbie, of the home; daughter, Tracy Crockett; sons, Jamey Crockett and wife Barbara, and Jason Crockett; six grandsons, Tannar, Spencer, Sterling and Timber Hinson, Brandon Spangler and Dillon Crockett; two great-grandchildren, Braxton and Scout Hinson; brothers, Larry, Roger and Charlie Crockett; three sisters, Dian Crockett, Pam Mann, and Cindy Thompson; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Masonic Service:  6:30 p.m. Monday, March 18^th at the Hixson-Klein Funeral Home in Gower with visitation following until 8:30 p.m.

Funeral Service: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 19^th at the funeral home.

Burial:  Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Weston, MO.
