In Remembrance Of
Jeff A. Knipp
JEFF A. KNIPP
Jeff A. Knipp, 41, of Smithville, MO, passed away, Saturday, October 21, 2006.
In Memory of Jeff A Knipp,
He was born on September 25, 1965, to Jerry Leo Knipp and Yvonne Sylvia Knipp in Kansas City, Missouri.
On February 1, 1985, he was united in marriage to Sheila Knipp. They lived in Grandview for 17 years, during which they had two beautiful children, Tyra and Tyler. In 2002 they moved to Smithville, Missouri.
Jeff had many loves in his life. Most important to him was his wife and children. He also loved his Mother, Yvonne, his brothers Greg, Tim and Terry and his sister, Linda and all of their families. He was very blessed to have such a large loving family that was such a constant part of his life. He also loved to Hunt and be outdoors. His hunting partners and “adopted” kids Shad and Shannon, Kyle, Martine and his son were also very important to him. He was very close to Shad and Shannon’s kids, Xavier, Xander and Hunter, and considered them his own grandchildren. He was known as the “focker” of the family and had many endearing names like “Uncle Focker,” “Jeffrey Focker,” and to the younger ones who can’t speak very well “Buckle Focker.”
He owned and operated Knipp Tech LLC.
He was preceded in death by his father Jerry Leo Knipp and father-in-law Claude Welch
He is survived by his wife, Sheila Knipp, Daughter and Son, Tyra and Tyler, “adopted” kids Shad and Shannon and their three boys. He is also survived by his mother Yvonne, and siblings Greg, Terry, Tim and Linda, his mother and father in law Nancy Welch and Carl Sweatman, and siblings in law Carla McCammon, Curt Sweatman and their families. He leaves behind many other “adopted” kids and close relatives and friends.
Jeff will be sorely missed, and we all know that he would want us to celebrate his life by living ours to the fullest with his memory in mind.
Memorial Service: 2:00 p.m. Tuesday Oct. 24th at the Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Smithville, MO.
