Jeanne K. (Taylor) Duke
Jeanne K. Duke, 68 of Smithville, MO passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2015.
She was born on November 18, 1946 to William and Ivala (Whiteaker) Taylor in Davies County, MO. She grew up in Cameron, MO where she graduated from Cameron High School in 1964.
On July 1, 1967 she was united in marriage to Robert Lawrence Duke. After their marriage they lived in St. Joseph, MO, Olathe, KS, Spring Hill, KS and in 1996 they moved to Smithville.
She was a member of the Sassy Classy Red Hat Society and Sunnyside Circle, both in Smithville.
Jeanne was preceded in death by her father, brother, William L. Taylor, and her son, Robert ?Robby? William Duke.
She is survived by her husband, Bob, of the home; daughter, Krista Fort and husband Jeremy, Overland Park, KS; grandchildren, Taylor and Jackson Fort; and mother, Ivala Taylor, Cameron, MO; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral Services: 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 6th at Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Smithville.
Burial: Graceland Cemetery, Cameron, MO.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Amethyst Place.
