Jasper Clinton Harris
Jasper Clinton Harris, Sr., 78 of Phoenix, AZ, formerly of Trimble, MO, passed away, Sunday, April 8, 2012.
He was born on February 10, 1934 to Jasper A and Alma (King) Harris in Paradise, MO. Jasper attended school in Trimble and Smithville and in 1952 graduated from Plattsburg High School.
Jasper retired from TWA in 1994 after over 30 years of service. Jasper enjoyed flying and motorcycles. He loved being in the desert and lived for a few years in Quartzsite, AZ.
He was a past Pastor of the Community of Christ Church in Trimble.
Jasper was preceded in death by his parents, and sister Donna Stanton.
He is survived by his beloved wife Patricia; sons, Jasper Clinton Harris, Jr., and wife Sandy, David W. Harris and Richard D. Harris and wife Susan; four grandchildren, Jamie, Bobbi, Scott and Bradley; three great-grandchildren, Kara, Andrew and Alexander; sister, Dorris Mangum and husband Joseph; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation 6:00-7:00 p.m. Monday, April 30th at the Community of Christ, Smithville, MO with a Celebration of Life Service at 7:00 p.m. at the church.
Donations may be made to the church.
