Janeth L. Richmond

Janeth Lee Richmond, 91, of Plattsburg, MO passed away, May 24, 2024 at her home.

She was born on January 16, 1933 to William Clyde and Clara May Bell (McCulley) Slaughter in Flint, Michigan.

On April 3, 1954 she was united in marriage to George Russell Richmond. Her husband’s career was in USAF. Janeth took care of their home and raised their children. Her husband preceded her in death on May 22, 2002.

She is survived by her daughters, Athena “Tina” Lee Stinson, Davenport, IA, Barbara Jean Doty, Plattsburg, MO, Jacquiline “Jackie” Jane Dewey, Claycomo, MO, Georgia Ann Harmon, Kansas City, KS; thirteen grandchildren; a number of great grandchildren; step-great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
