Jane Giddens

Ora Jane Giddens, 78, of Independence, MO, passed away on June 20, 2023. 

Jane was born on June 30, 1944 to Clyde Argyle and Goldie Bernice (Tyler) in Kansas City, MO. Upon graduating from Central Missouri State University, she worked for the City of Kansas City, MO in the Water Department until her retirement in 1998. 

She was a member of Immanuel Baptist church in Independence, MO. 

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Jerry Giddens. 

She is survived by a sister, Joyce Hatchette; niece and husband, Berna Sue and Mike Casper; nephew and wife, Cliff and Donna Hatchette; great-nieces Caitlin and husband Chip Mezo, Cassidy Hatchette, and Caycee and husband Cameron Lazier; great-great-nephews Bodhi Mezo and Amari Lazier. 

Visitation: 11 AM Saturday, June 24th at the Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Gower, MO 

Funeral Service: 12PM, Saturday June 24that the Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Gower, MO
