James Keith “Elvis” Boswell
James Keith (Elvis) Boswell, 57, of Coffeeville, MS, passed away September 12, 2017 in Marion County, Florida in an auto accident while heading to repair infrastructure destroyed by Hurricane Irma.
Keith was born on November 7, 1960 in Camden Point, Missouri to the late Richard Allen and Barbara Jean Williams Boswell. He grew up in the Camden Point and Kansas City, Missouri areas and attended public school there.
Keith worked for railroads and related industries all of his life. At the time of his death, he was a Special Projects District Manager for Prewitt Enterprises headquartered in Walls, Mississippi, which restores train derailments and replenishes tracts. Keith was a hard and devoted worker to the Prewitt family and loved everything Elvis, especially his many years of performing as an Elvis tribute artist. Keith was a man of many talents, but his warm heart and love for life were his greatest attribute and will be missed by all.
Keith leaves behind his wife, Christine D. Boswell; one brother, Richard Boswell and wife Jane; one son, Tim Boswell; two daughters, Tiffany Johnson and husband Dan and Krystal Parsons; a stepdaughter, Mellissa Ozborn and husband Mike; a stepson, Jesse Resch and wife Rachael. He also leaves behind 11 grandchildren, nieces & nephews, and his dog, Rufus as well as many beloved friends.
A service celebrating his life will be held on Thursday, September 28th, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. at the Camden Point Baptist Church, 500 3rd Street, Camden Point, Missouri 64018.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, beginning at 6:00 p.m.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
