James ‘Jim” Wilson
James Dee “Jim” Wilson, 75, of Trimble, MO, formerly of Smithville, Gower, and Edgerton, passed away October 15, 2018.
He was born on January 11, 1943 to William Mack and Martha Reed (White) Wilson in San Diego, CA. Jim grew up near Gower and graduated from Gower High School in 1961. He then served his country in the US Navy. After his honorable discharge, he lived in Smithville, MO, in 1970 moved to Gower, MO, in 1988 moved to Edgerton and later moved to Trimble.
Jim worked at Peerless Conveyor Company in Kansas City, KS. He later owned and operated BZ Bar in Edgerton.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Jim is survived by daughter, Kimberly White and husband Randy, Hardin, MO; son, Gerald Wilson and wife Lynn, St. Joseph, MO; six grandchildren Zachary, Mitchell, Daniel, Alix, Gaige, and Rachel; great-grandson Carter; brothers, Ken Wilson, Salt Lake City, UT and Don Wilson and wife Lisa, Kansas City, MO; sisters, Ann Nicholas and husband Mark, Montrose, CO, Carol Pollock and husband Dan, Havensville, KS and Joyce Lawyer and husband Darwin, Wellsville, KS; several nieces and nephews other relatives and many friends.
Funeral Service: 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 20th with visitation from 12:00-2:00 p.m. prior to the service at Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Edgerton.
Burial: Reed Cemetery
