In Remembrance Of

James Henry Lane Stover V

James Henry Lane Stover V graced us with his presence September 7th, 1994.   He left this world unexpectedly February 11th, 2018.  We were not done with his  beautiful life, but he had fulfilled his life here on earth with us and I just know that God had such big plans for him in Heaven.

He was born in Hoffman Estates, IL and soon after he moved back to his family farm in Missouri where he was raised.  He attended North Platte High School and graduated with his “brothers and sisters” in the class of 2013. He also attended Northland Community Center his junior and senior year and earned his HVAC certifications.

He worked for Allied Aviation Services-Kansas City Airport (where is PaPa worked for 27 years).  In 2016 he accepted a position at Hollander International/United Van Lines in Chicago where he worked alongside his father and their lifelong friends following in his father’s footsteps.  December of 2016, he was determined to go back to school and pursue a career as a Crane Operator.  He attended ATS – Associated Training Services in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin.   He moved back to his childhood home at Christmas 2017 to accept a job at Ideal Crane (St Joseph, MO).  He was a member of the IUOE Local 101 – Operating Engineers Union.  He was so excited to start this new career path, his dreams were big and his plans were even bigger.

We have such sweet memories of the boys (Matt Parker is our son) playing together as kids. Jimmy was always such a sweetheart and everyone was his friend. My heart aches for your loss and I pray for peace and comfort until you meet again.

What a joy it was to watch Jimmy and his buddies grow up together. We’ll never forget the ball games and the fun they are had just being together. Please know that we care for you and all who loved him. You will remain in our thoughts and prayers and we hope you will find comfort in knowing how many people truly loved him.
