Jake Richard Hild, Jr.
Jake Hild, Jr., 66, of Smithville, MO passed away Tuesday, March 25, 2014.
He was born on August 16, 1947 to Jake Richard, Sr. and Delores Eileen (Wiemers) in Kearney, NE. He grew up and graduated high in Elm Creek, NE. He then served his country in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam.
He was united in marriage Georgia Nadine Tucker. They lived in Plattsburg and had three sons. She passed away in 1984. Jake married Myrna and they lived in Kansas City, she preceded him in death . Jake later married Marsha and they made their home in Smithville, she passed away in 2012.
Jake was a real estate agent for J.C. Nichols in Smithville. He also served on the Smithville City Council.
He enjoyed gardening, fishing and bird hunting.
He was also preceded in death by his father and one sister, Rhonda Kamery.
Jake is survived by his sons, Kelly Hild and wife Jill, Travis Hild, and Josh Hild and wife Tiffanie; grandchildren, Cooper, Braden, Cami, Taylor, Logan, Maris, and McCartney; mother, Delores Hild; brothers, Jack, Darrell and Dan; sisters, Cindy, Debbie, Lori and Lynette; other relatives and many friends.
Visitation: 5:00-7:00 p.m. Saturday, March 29th at Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Smithville.
