We are deeply sorry for your tragic loss. Our daughter Laura shared Lakeside Singers with Jake and was fortunate to have had him as a friend. I will always remember him for his kindness and his amazing warm, rich voice. He is surely singing now in a heavenly choir.

When God calls our children to dwell with him above, we mortals sometimes question the wisdom of His love. For no heartache compares with, the death of one young child. Who does so much to make our world, seem so wonderful and mild. Perhaps God tires of calling the aged to His fold. So He picks a rosebud before it can grow too old. God knows how much we need them, and so He takes but few. To make the land of heaven more beautiful to view. Believing this is difficult still somehow we must try, the saddest word mankind knows will always be Good-bye. So when a young man departs, we who are left behind must realize God loves children…. Angels are hard to find!
    My heart is with you.

We are Austin’s grandparents. Jacob had been to our house with the boys a few times. We enjoyed his humor. Wanted you to know you did a great job. I know words don’t say what’s in everyone’s heart and cannot imagine your pain. We are grateful for having met Jacob. Thank you for having a wonderful son.

    Trinka,
May you feel your sons presence close to you in the coming days as he transitions into your guardian angel.
May you see his smile in yours , and his hand in yours , and his eyes in yours , and his heart still beating in yours, as he was and always will be a part of you .
May you receive him in your dreams and get to see that he is happy and doing ok.
May you get a visit from a butterfly saying hello , a rainbow appearing to cheer you , and a favorite song of Jakes playing randomly on the radio ,letting you know he is all around you and will always be …forever and ever…
May you speak to him everyday , as he hears you , and will always be near❤️
May you always fill with joy in remembering Jake lived an amazing life full of love , laughter and joy.
May you always look to the stars and moon and sky and know that there’s so much more to our universe than we will ever understand or comprehend …His life continues on .
May you feel so much pride in knowing you are the best Mom he could have ever chosen as a baby angel , and he knew that.
May you also hold tight in knowing he Loves you so much .❤️
Until you meet again , take good care of yourself sweet friend , and live life in honor of your sweet Son ❤️
I’m praying for you and Abagail and Jake in these fragile weeks of missing each other terribly and I know this is hard for you to go through . You are not alone

Dear Trinka and Family, There is not anyway to reason why these devastating losses happen in our life. It is not “because Jesus called Jake home”. Most often our loss is due to time and circumstance. We pray for you and family. We know Jake is being held in the arms of our Savior. We hold you all in our hearts. Hang on tight to family and friends .
