Jacqueline L. Warren
Jacqueline
â??Jackieâ? Lee Warren, 90, of Smithville, MO passed away Monday, June 8, 2015.
She
was born on March 9, 1925 to William A. and Jessie Lee (Snedigar) Hallmark in
Kansas City, MO. Jackie grew up and
attended school in Kansas City.
On
January 28, 1944 she was united in marriage to Donald F. Warren. After their marriage they made their home in
the Smithville area. She loved listening
to music, playing the organ and dancing.
She and Donald were members of the Boots and Bows Square Dance
Club. Jackie enjoyed all of the social
gatherings during Donaldâ??s long political career. Donald, the love of her life, passed away on
August 19, 2010.
She
owned and operated Jackieâ??s Beauty Shop in her home for several years. Jackie was an exceptional seamstress and was
also a great cook. She enjoyed
gardening, canning, traveling, camping, swimming and visiting with
friends. Jackie loved all of her dogs
that she had throughout her life.
She
was a member of the First Baptist Church in Smithville where she sang in the
choir.
Jackie
was also preceded in death by her parents, sister and brother-in-law Jerry and
Buddy Summers; sister-in-law Carol Jean Warren; sister-in-law and
brother-in-law Virginia (Warren) and John Justice; and brother-in-law Clarence
Reeves.
She
is survived by her brother-in-law Richard Warren (Doris); nieces and nephews
Carolyn (Larry) Decet, Donnie (Tina) Summers, Connie (Dave) Lytle, Dannie
(Beverly) Summers, Cathy (Larry) McDonald, Terri (Gary) Scott, and Donna
(Danny) Corless; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral
Service: 3:00 p.m. Friday, June 12th
with visitation from 2:00-3:00 p.m. prior to the service all at Hixson-Klein
Funeral Home, Smithville
Burial:
Smithville Memorial Cemetery
