Jacob Daniel Grove

Jacob Daniel Grove, 20, of Dearborn, MO, passed away Monday, November 21, 2011 as a result of a vehicle accident.

He was born on December 29, 1990 to Robert and Lori (Ballard) Grove. Jacob grew up in rural Platte County and attended North Platte High School. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. Jacob loved working on cars, was very compassionate and always took time to help friends, family or even a stranger.

Jacob was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Clara Ballard, aunts Jeanette Starr and Rebecca Willis and cousin Josh Biggerstaff.

He is survived by his mother Lori Grove; father Robert Grove; brother, Taylor Grove; fiancé, Megan Anderson; maternal grandfather, David Ballard; paternal grandparents David and Jean Grove; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

The family would like to thank Emery and Peggy Anderson and the Platte County Sheriff’s Department for their tireless efforts in locating Jacob.

Memorial Service: 3:00 p.m. Saturday, November 26^th at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church with visitation from 1:00-3:00 prior to the service.
