Jack Moore

Clarence Jackson “Jack” Moore, 68, of Gower, MO passed away February 27, 2017.

He was born on July 7, 1948 to Homer Jackson and Mina Rae (Harper) Moore in St. Joseph, MO.  Jack attended East Buchanan High School in Gower.  He then served his country in the US Marine Corps during the Vietnam War.  After his honorable discharge, he lived in various places and settled in the Gower area. 

Jack was a hard worker, working various jobs wherever he lived.  He was a member of the VFW. 

Jacked loved making jewelry and various crafts. 

He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings Robert Bush, Bea Burr, Caleb Bush, and  Thomas Samuel Orwick.

Jack is survived by siblings Betty Bland and Carl LeRoy Bush and wife Ruth Anne; companion Lorene Elder; close friend Mark Bunn; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Graveside Service:  12:30 p.m. Thursday, March 2nd at Leavenworth National Cemetery, Leavenworth, KS
