JACK BOSWELL

Jack Boswell, 79, of Kansas City, MO., passed away, Friday, February 3, 2006 at his home.

He was born on December 29, 1926 to Samuel and Eva (Ralston) Boswell in Amarillo, Texas where he grew up and graduated from High School. He then served his country in the U.S. Navy during W.W. II. After his honorable discharge he returned to Texas and graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from West Texas State College. In 1956 he moved to Kansas City, Mo. In May of 1976 he was united in marriage to Pat Dennis.

Jack worked as a computer programmer for Phillips Petroleum and later Charles Overfelt Company, both in Kansas City, retiring in 1990.

He was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Frank Phillips Men?s Club, Friend of the Arts, Friend of the Zoo, a Computer Club and Stock Club, all in Kansas City.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers and sisters.

He is survived by his wife, Pat of the home, two daughters, Pamela Boswell and Jacqueline Armilio, two sons, Royce Boswell and Lawrence ?Larry? Boswell and four grandchildren, Michael Armilio, Marie, Josh Shook and Stephanie Gregalunas, other relatives and many friends.

FUNERAL SERVICE: 1:00 P.M., Wednesday, February 8, 2006 at the Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Smithville, Mo.
BURIAL: I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Smithville
VISITATION: 6:30-8:00 P.M., Tuesday at the funeral home.
