Inez Pancake

INEZ PANCAKE

Inez Pancake, 94, of Kansas City North, Mo., passed away, Thursday, November 17, 2005.

She was born on March 8, 1911 to Jerry ?Tug? and Mabel (Wilson) Anders in rural Platte County, Mo. Inez later graduated from Smithville High School.

On October 5, 1929 she was united in marriage to Clifton A. Pancake. After their marriage they later lived on the family farm, near Nashua, where they made their home for over 60 years. Her husband, Clifton, preceded her in death on January 5, 1986.

Inez was a member of the Barry Christian Church in Kansas City and the Barry Chapter #369 Order of the Eastern Star.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, one son, Jerry Richard Pancake on February 5, 2005, two brothers and one sister.

Inez is survived by two daughters, Shirley Wells, of the home, and Judy Kay Weers and husband, Chuck, Kansas City, Mo., five grandchildren, Barbara Chaney and husband, Joe, Robert ?Bob? Jacobson, Lisa Pancake, Angie Ross and husband, Noel, and Janice Helm and husband, Scott, two great-grandchildren, Jolynn and Skyler Noel, several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral Services: 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 22nd at the Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Smithville, Mo.
Burial: I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Smithville.
Eastern Star Services at 6:30 p.m. Monday with visitation following until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home in Smithville.
