Howard G. “Dom” Roach
Howard G. “Dom” Roach, 76, of Camden Point, MO, passed away, July 17, 2010 at his home.
He was born on December 2, 1933 to James R. and Mary Susan (Clark) Roach in Altus, Arkansas where he grew up and graduated high school. He then served his country in the U.S. Army.
Dom worked for General Motors Fairfax Assembly Plant for 30 years, retiring in 1981. He was a member of United Auto Workers Union Local 31.
Dom was a member of the Masonic Lodge.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Dom is survived by three daughters, Donna Weese, Liberty, MO, Lori Shaffer and husband, Stephen, Kansas City North, MO, and Stacy Speiser and husband Chad, Lawson, MO; five grandchildren, Kinsi Walker, Sydni Weese, Kylie Shaffer, Austin Weese, Madeline Grey; one great-grandson, Gavin Bernard; companion of the home, Robin Pritchard; sister, Helen R. Ballinger; three half sisters, one half-brother; other relatives and many friends.
Memorial Service: 6:30 p.m. Wednesday July 21st at Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Edgerton, with visitation following until 8:30 p.m.
Private Family Inurnment: Ridgely Cemetery.
Donations may be made to Three Rivers Hospice.
