Hilary Ramsey
Hilary L. Ramsey, 84, of St. Joseph, MO passed away January 7, 2025.
She was born on September 14, 1940, to Harry Shafer and Drusilla Blanche (Copeland) Hay in Edgerton MO. Hilary grew up in Kansas City, MO where she graduated from high school.
Hilary raised her three children in St. Joseph, MO. She worked as a bookkeeper for several years for Einbender’s in St. Joseph. Hilary was an avid reader and loved her cats.
She was preceded in death by her parents Shake and Blanche Hay and her infant sister Harriett Hay.
Hilary is survived her children Melissa (Wally) Gasper, Martin (Michelle) Ramsey and Jennifer (Skippy) Gardner; grandchildren Samuel (Kaitlin) Crowley, Matt (Therese) Crowley, Sean Ramsey, Allie Ramsey, Jake Gardner, Kylie (Garrett) Campbell and Wyatt Gardner; great-granddaughter Rosalie Campbell; other relatives and many friends.
Graveside Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, May 17th at Union Mill Cemetery, Edgerton, MO.
Donations may be made to the St. Joseph Animal Shelter.

My dad is Ronnie Hay and is the son of William Floyd “Whack” Hay who is Shake’s brother. We are very sorry for your loss.
