HENRY R. FISHER

Henry Raymond Fisher, 75, of Easton, Mo., passed away peacefully at his home, Monday, September 5, 2005.

He was born September 18, 1929 to John and Amelia Rose (Kneib) Fisher on the family farm near Easton, Mo. He grew up in Easton and graduated from Easton High School. Henry then served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. After his honorable discharge he returned to Easton.

On October 30, 1965 he was united in marriage to Mary Catherine Claus. After their marriage they lived on the family farm in Easton where they made their home.

Henry also worked for Beattie?s Warehouse in St. Joseph, Mo., and retired from Hesse Corporation in Kansas City.

He was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Easton where he served on many committees, and served on the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery Board. He was also a member of the Catholic Order of Foresters .

Henry was preceded in death by his parents, an infant brother, Wilford, and two sisters, Luella Fisher and Cecelia Carnoali.

He is survived by his wife, Mary, of the home, eight children, John Fisher and wife, Pam, Carmel, Indiana, Mark Fisher and wife, Seretha, Prairie Villiage, Ks., Catherine Linneman and husband, Kelly, Salisbury, Mo., Susan Canchola and husband, Patrick, Gaithersburg, Maryland, Michael Fisher, of the home, Stephen Fisher and wife, Katie, Brookfield, Mo., Christine Fisher, Mission, Ks., and Mary Jo Fisher, of the home, eleven grandchildren, Scott and Jacob Fisher, Jack and Luke Fisher, Ashley, Kevin, Catie, and Kyle Linneman, Emily, Jacob, and Kayla Canchola, sisters, Regina Hull, Lorene Kobett, and Marie Fisher, all of St. Joseph, Mo., Teresa Stock, Elmhurst, Illinois, and Annalee Murphy, St. Mary?s, Ks., numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Mass of Christian Burial: 10:30 a.m. Friday, September 9th at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Easton, Mo.
Burial: St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Easton, Mo.
Rosary at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday with visitation following until 8:30 p.m. at the church.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the church or the cemetery.
