HENRY IVAN GREGORY
Henry Ivan Gregory, 70, of Trimble, Mo., passed away, Saturday, October 29, 2005 at North Kansas City Hospital.
He was born on September 1, 1935 to Charles Franklin and Nora Emma Gregory in Warsaw, Mo., where he attended school and grew up. Ivan then served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. After his honorable discharge he lived in California.
On August 13, 1971 he was united in marriage to Beverly Bacon. After their marriage they lived near Trimble where they made their home.
Ivan worked as a carpenter for several construction companies in the Kansas City area, including, Drexel Noble Construction and in 2000 retired from John Rohrer Construction. He was a member of Carpenter?s Union Local 777.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Carole, two sons, John Gregory and Keith Gregory, two brothers, Herbert Gregory and Loren Gregory, an infant sister, Lenora, sister, Mary Weaver, and great-grandson, Silas Einstein.
He is survived by his wife; Beverly of the home, children; Brenda Carole Adams, Riva, Md., Robin Kuykendall and Connie Gregory, both of Saugus, Ca., Brett Gregory, Phelan, Ca., Rick Gregory, Brenda King and Shirley Price, all of Gower, Mo., thirteen grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, sisters: Barbara West, Nelson, Mo., Wanda Hagerman, Walnut Grove, Mo., Ada Ashlock, Humansville, Mo., Marjorie Burlinggame, Columbus, Ks., Nettie Dover, Humansville, Mo., Roselma Collins, Nampa, Idaho, Norma Morosco, Simi Valley, Ca., several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
FUNERAL SERVICE: 1:00 P.M., Monday, October 31, 2005 at Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Smithville, Mo.
BURIAL WITH MILITARY HONORS: Reed Cemetery Trimble, Mo.
VISITATION: 6:00-8:00 P.M., Tonight, at the funeral home in Smithville
