Henry Edgar “Ed” Scott
Henry Edgar “Ed” Scott, 70 of Holt, MO formerly of Smithville, MO passed away Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at his home.
He was born on March 16, 1943 to Alan Edgar and Elizabeth Clarene (Stith) Scott in Smithville, MO where he grew up and graduated from Smithville High School.
On April 27, 1962 he was united in marriage to Patricia Ann Mangels. After their marriage they lived in Paradise, MO where they made their home for 35 years. In 2000 they moved to Holt, MO.
Ed worked at Steve Clower’s Body Shop in Smithville and Gary Porter’s Body Shop in Kearney. After his children were grown, he enjoyed his German Shepherd Dogs .
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Ed is survived by his wife Patty, of the home; sons, Ernest Scott and wife Angela, Clifford Scott and wife RogAnn; grandchildren, Nichele, Savannah, and Dalton; sister, Eleanor Broderick and husband Denny; step-mother, Eva Scott; sisters-in-law, Linda Mangels and Susie Atkinson and husband Chet; nephews, Tracy Mangels and wife Tonya and Shane Johnson and wife Jeane, nieces, Stacy McClasky and husband Mark, and Shelley Delich and husband John; and other relatives and many friends.
Memorial Service: 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 23rd at Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Smithville.
Inurnment at later date: Goss Cemetery
