Helen Virginia (Stillion) Still
Helen Virginia Still, 81, of Smithville, Missouri, passed away Friday, March 28, 2014.
She was born on February 12, 1933 to James and Winnie Maud (Schoof) Stillion in Flora Vista, New Mexico.
On September 6, 1953 she was united in marriage to Roy William Still. After their marriage they lived in various places, and in 1963 they settled in Smithville where they made their home. Her husband Roy passed away on July 21, 2008. Helen was also preceded in death by her parents, three sisters and two of her brothers.
Helen did bookkeeping for the family business Smithville Electronics, and later worked as a secretary for State Farm Insurance.
She was an active member of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Kansas City.
She is survived by her children, Tim Still and wife, Barbara, Tamara Still and husband, Jim, Terry Still and wife, Debbie; nine grandchildren, James and wife Penny, Christy, Amy and husband Anthony, Mark, Frances, Alex, Ashley, Shelby and Nate; six great-grandchildren, Madeline, Matthew, Mason, Max, Joshua, and Andrew; brother Glenn Stillion and wife Judy; several nieces and nephews, as well as other relatives and many friends.
Visitation: 10:30-12:00 p.m. (noon) Funeral Services at 12:00 p.m. (noon) Saturday, April 5th all at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, 5409 NW 72nd Street, Kansas City, MO 64151
Burial: 2:30 p.m. Saturday April 5th at Mt. Moriah Terrace Park, Kansas City.

Veterans lost a good friend this week. Helen was a member of American Legion Auxilliary Unit #58 & the Legion family became a big part of her life. She was always supportive & generous when giving to veterans. We will miss you dear friend.
