HELEN MANN

Helen Agnes Mann, 88, of rural Agency, passed away, Monday, May 22, 2006.

She was born on July 23, 1917 to Jack and Nettie Agnes (Haney) Grady in Lathrop, MO, where she grew up and attended school.

On February 12, 1936 she was united in marriage to Leasol Earl Mann in Lathrop. After their marriage they lived in Lathrop where they farmed and in 1943 they moved to rural Agency where they continued farming and made their home. Her husband, Leasol, passed away, May 30, 1997.

Helen worked for Helen’s Laundromat in Gower, which she later owned and operated.

She was an active member of the Mt. Moriah United Methodist Church near Gower.

Helen was also preceded in death by her parents, son, Keith, an infant daughter, Linda, daughter, Rita Hilsabeck, and granddaughter, Juli Mann, two brothers, A.D. and Thomas Grady, two sisters, Maggie Bowers and Ivy English, and two step-brothers, John and Mike Grady.

She is survived by one son, Gary Mann, Agency, MO, daughter, LaDonna Aebersold and husband, Gary, Agency, MO, son-in-law, Ed Hilsabeck, Barnard, Mo, eight grandchildren, Darbi, Kami, Kip, Grady, Chad, Tyler, Gara, and Grant, fifteen great-grandchildren, Taylor, Payden, Quayde, Brody, Jordan, Jacob, Josie, Jackson, Malainee, Baylee, Makayla, Mariah, Collin, Coby, and Kylie, several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral Services: 10:00 a.m. Thursday, May 25th at the Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Gower.
Burial: Number Six Cemetery, rural Agency.
Visitation: 6:30-8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
